Matthew Sloan's Big Game Leads East Hickman County over Harpeth

Matthew Sloan's rushing tear continued on Friday as he dropped his tenth-straight game with 119+ rushing yards dating back to last season. He rushed for 170 yards and a touchdown on only 14 carries. The bulk of those rushing yards came from one huge play: a run that gained an incredible 91 yards.

Sloan might have his next game, a home matchup with Summertown, circled on his calendar. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Sloan saw Summertown), he rushed for 119 yards and a touchdown.

Logan Love produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Summertown to the win on Friday. Love rushed for 60 yards and two touchdowns on only six carries.

Love and Summertown will challenge East Hickman County at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Summertown had to take a loss when they last met East Hickman County, but Love had little to do with the loss: he rushed for 38 yards and a touchdown, and also threw for 29 yards and a touchdown while completing 80% of his passes. Can he match (or beat) that performance?

Mt. Pleasant's Losing Streak Is No More Thanks to Evan Plunkett

Evan Plunkett helped snap Mt. Pleasant's three-game losing streak. Plunkett was dynamite on Friday, picking up a sack and making three total tackles. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, picking up a sack and making three total tackles.

Mt. Pleasant's victory bumped their record up to 6-3. Plunkett and Mt. Pleasant will face off against Loretto at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
