Basketball Recap: North Fond du Lac Comes Up Short

After flying high against Mayville last Friday, North Fond du Lac came back down to earth. The North Fond du Lac Orioles had to suffer through a 65-25 loss at the hands of the Laconia Spartans. The Orioles were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 41-11.

North Fond du Lac's defeat dropped their record down to 12-10. As for Laconia, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 19-3 record this season.

The future could be bright for both North Fond du Lac and Laconia: their next opponents haven't had the best luck recently. North Fond du Lac will look to extend Hilbert's six-game losing streak when the meet at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Laconia will try to hand Winnebago Lutheran Academy their fourth-straight loss when the two meet at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
