Baseball Game Preview: Carl Albert Titans vs. Noble Bears

For the second straight game, Carl Albert will face off against Noble. The Titans will head out to square off against the Bears at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Carl Albert is coming into the contest hot, having won their last seven games.

Carl Albert is headed into the matchup having just posted their closest win since April 7th on Monday. They had just enough and edged out Noble 4-3.

Mason Avery spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned (and two unearned) runs on four hits and racked up eight Ks. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in six consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Carl Albert let Lane Sexton and Davonte Jones run wild. Sexton got on base in all three of his plate appearances with one stolen base and one run, while Jones went 1-for-3 with one triple and two RBI.

Carl Albert pushed their record up to 25-4 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. As for Noble, their defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 10-1 and their overall record down to 18-8.
