Meanwhile, Liberty faced Lovejoy in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Monday. The Redhawks were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Leopards.

Argyle's win bumped their record up to 37-3. As for Liberty, their victory bumped their record up to 35-4.
