East Peoria's game on Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They never let the Normal University Pioneers get on the board and left with a 14-0 win. The Raiders might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matchups by six runs or more this season.

East Peoria's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-9. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Normal University, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-11.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. East Peoria will venture away from home to take on Galesburg at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Raiders are facing the Silver Streaks at the right time seeing as the Silver Streaks are stuck on a 20-game losing streak. As for Normal University, they will take on Decatur Eisenhower at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Panthers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 15.23 runs per game on average), something the Pioneers will no doubt try to take advantage of.
