Basketball Recap: Lexington Comes Up Short

Lexington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Latta Panthers, falling 59-38.

Lexington's defeat dropped their record down to 6-18. As for Latta, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-14.

Looking ahead, Lexington is taking a road trip to take on Little Axe at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Latta, a feisty cat fight will be fought as the Panthers face off against the Tigers at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Latta has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
