Football Recap: Stockdale Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Friday just wasn't the day for Stockdale's offense. They were beaten by the Independence Falcons 41-0 on Friday. The loss leaves the Mustangs still looking for their first win of the season.

It was another big night for Gunter Golla Iii, who rushed for 41 yards and one TD, and also threw for 157 yards and one touchdown for Independence.

Stockdale's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Independence, the win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Stockdale will venture away from home to take on Bakersfield Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Independence, they will head out to square off against Kennedy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
