Baseball Recap: Nativity BVM Takes a Loss

The Nativity BVM Green Wave didn't have quite enough to beat the Hamburg Hawks on Monday and fell 3-2. The Green Wave have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Nativity BVM saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was RYAN EXAMITIS, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI. NICK WAGNER also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Nativity BVM's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Hamburg, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Nativity BVM will challenge Williams Valley at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Green Wave are facing the Vikings at the right time seeing as the Vikings are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Hamburg, they will be playing at home against Kutztown at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Cougars' pitching crew has only allowed 1.1 runs per game this season, so the Hawks' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
