Basketball Recap: Crocker's Higher State Rank on Full Display on Tuesday

After losing to Newburg the last time they met, Crocker decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Crocker Lions walked away with a 50-40 win over the Newburg Wolves on Tuesday. Given the Lions' advantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 173rd, while the Wolves are ranked 368th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Crocker has also been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season. As for Newburg, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-4 record this season.
