Cresset Christian Academy was especially dominant in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-22, 20-25, 25-23.

Cresset Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Asheboro Hybrid Academy, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 8-2.
