Munster came tearing into  Tuesday's  contest with three straight wins  (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.7 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with  a   5-1  victory over the Crete-Monee Warriors.
 Ed Kicho looked comfortable as he  pitched one inning while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. He has been consistent for a while: he hasn't  given up  more than one  earned run in ten consecutive appearances.
 At the plate,  Donovan Craig was  excellent,  going a perfect 3-for-3 with two  stolen bases and one  run. He has been hot recently, having  posted  at least one  stolen base the last three times he's  played.  Kobe Shelton was another key player,  going 2-for-4 with one  double and one  RBI.
 Munster was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .400. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Crete-Monee only posted a  batting average of  .167.
Munster's record is now 17-11. As for Crete-Monee, their defeat  ended  a  six-game streak of wins at home  and  dropped them to 21-13.
 The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Munster will square off against Crown Point at 5:00  p.m.  on Friday. The Bulldogs will roll in looking for their  seventh straight  win, something the Mustangs surely won't give up without a fight. As for Crete-Monee, they will challenge Tinley Park at 4:00  p.m.  on Friday. The Warriors are facing the Titans at the right time seeing as the Titans are stuck on  a  five-game losing streak.
