Softball Recap: Douglas Takes a Loss

Douglas came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 12-2 to the Spanish Springs Cougars. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Tigers have suffered since March 14th.

Hailee Lister was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-2 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.

Douglas' defeat dropped their record down to 8-13. As for Spanish Springs, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 19-2.

While Douglas had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
