Volleyball Recap: Loogootee Has No Trouble Against Medora

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Loogootee walked away with it. They blew past the Medora Hornets 3-0 on Thursday.

Alaina Diamond paced Loogootee's offense, picking up ten kills. Diamond got some help from Aubrey Gilbert and her nine assists. Gilbert was also solid from the service line: she led the team with 11 aces.

Loogootee is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-16 record this season. As for Medora, they are on a 26-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-24.

Looking ahead, Loogootee will take on Vincennes Rivet at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Medora does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
