Football Game Preview: Fowler Eagles vs. Pewamo-Westphalia Pirates + How To Watch

Fowler hasn't had much luck against Pewamo-Westphalia recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Eagles will take on the Pirates at 7:00 p.m. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a five-game winning streak alive.

Fowler is headed into the matchup after thoroughly thrashing Dansville: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Eagles blew the Aggies out of the water with a 54-6 final score. With the Eagles ahead 39-0 at the half, the game was all but over already.

Meanwhile, Pewamo-Westphalia got themselves on the board against Bark River-Harris last Friday, but Bark River-Harris never followed suit. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Broncos 49-0. Given the Pirates' advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan football rankings (they are ranked 123rd, while the Broncos are ranked 342nd) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Pewamo-Westphalia's win bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Fowler, their victory bumped their record up to 5-1.

Fowler came out on top in a nail-biter against Pewamo-Westphalia when the teams last played back in October of 2024, sneaking past 14-11. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
