Our Lady of Mercy lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Bishop Kearney, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Wednesday's contest. The Monarchs blew past the Kings 10-2 on Wednesday. The Monarchs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matchups by eight runs or more this season.

Our Lady of Mercy is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.5 runs on average over those games. Having lost for the first time this season, Bishop Kearney fell to 5-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Our Lady of Mercy will welcome Le Roy at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Bishop Kearney, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Pittsford at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
