Manatee's game  on Tuesday was a  loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them  on Thursday. They narrowly escaped with a  win as the  squad sidled past the Hardee Wildcats  11-9. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Hurricanes considering their one-run performance the  match before.
The team  relied heavily on  Jenna Caldwell, who  went 1-for-4 with three  runs, one  stolen base,  and one  double. The team also got some help courtesy of  Maleah Lowe, who  went 2-for-4 with two  runs.
 They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Manatee  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 13  hits. They are 5-1 when  they post 11 or more  hits.
Manatee's victory  ended  a  six-game drought at home  and  bumped them up to 5-14. As for Hardee, their loss was  their fourth straight on the road, which  dropped their record down to 5-14.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Manatee will welcome Port Charlotte  at 7:00  p.m.  on Monday. As for Hardee, they will square off against Winter Haven at 7:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
