While Heide Trask has struggled on the road with three straight losses , that wasn't the case on Monday thanks to Scarlet Dickson. The Titans walked away with a 46-39 victory over the Lakewood Leopards thanks in part to Dickson, who dropped a double-double with 14 points and ten rebounds. Thanks to that strong game, she now owns an excellent 45.6% shooting accuracy.

The team also got some help courtesy of Alanah Watkins, who posted eight points in addition to six boards and three steals. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in each of the last ten games she's played dating back to last season.

Despite the loss, Lakewood still got an impressive performance from Areona Mckoy, who put up 23 points and five steals. Mckoy is becoming a predictor of the Leopards' success: when she posts at least five steals the team is 3-1 (and 1-2 when she doesn't). Another player making a difference was Jahmai Rich, who had six points along with ten rebounds and five blocks.

Heide Trask now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Lakewood, their loss dropped their record down to 4-3.

Heide Trask has already played their next contest, a 57-39 defeat against Clinton on the 23rd. As for Lakewood, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 59-39 win against Union on the 23rd.
