Soccer Recap: Lincoln County Takes a Loss

Lincoln County lost against Columbia Central back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Falcons lost 4-1 to the Lions. Lincoln County just can't catch a break and have now endured five defeats in a row.

Lincoln County's loss dropped their record down to 2-8-1. As for Columbia Central, they now have a winning record of 4-3-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lincoln County will host Shelbyville Central at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Shelbyville Central will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Lincoln County surely won't give up without a fight. As for Columbia Central, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Spring Hill at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Columbia Central will be up against Spring Hill's rather soft defense (which has allowed 4.63 goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
