Softball Recap: Lloyd Memorial Comes Up Short

If Lloyd Memorial was feeling good fresh off their 14-0 takedown of St. Henry on Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Juggernauts lost 15-5 to the Paris Greyhounds on Friday. The Juggernauts were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Greyhounds apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Lloyd Memorial moved to 7-10 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak. As for Paris, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-9 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lloyd Memorial will square off against Williamstown at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Paris, they will take on Robertson County at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
