Volleyball Recap: Sitka Comes Up Short

Sitka lost against Bettye Davis East Anchorage back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Wolves fell just short of the Thunderbirds by a score of 1-0.

Sitka has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 14-13-9 record this season. As for Bettye Davis East Anchorage, their win bumped their record up to 11-14.

Sitka wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 1-0 victory against Susitna Valley on the 10th. As for Bettye Davis East Anchorage, they will head out on the road to face off against Chugiak at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
