Southwest has gone a perfect 10-0 against Winn recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Southwest Dragons will take on the Winn Mavericks at 7:15 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Southwest has four straight victories, Winn has 17 straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the pitch.

Southwest barely beat Harlandale the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. Southwest blew past Harlandale 4-0 on Friday. The Dragons might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine contests by three goals or more this season.

They hit Harlandale with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Mayra Medina (2), Jocelyn Rose, and Zaira Plascenscia.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Winn's offense. They lost 6-0 to McCollum on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Mavericks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 723rd, while the Cowboys are ranked 296th).

Winn's loss dropped their record down to 0-17. As for Southwest, their win bumped their record up to 17-5.

Everything went Southwest's way against Winn in their previous meeting back in January, as Southwest made off with a 3-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Southwest since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
