Baseball Game Preview: Tyler Knights vs. Oak Glen Golden Bears

The Tyler Knights will face off against the Oak Glen Golden Bears at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Tyler is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.2 runs per game this season.

Brayden Neff and Gabe Jackson stepped up to the plate in a big way. Neff went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double, while Jackson went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run. Jackson is becoming a predictor of Tyler's success: when he posts at least two stolen bases the team is 4-2 (and 10-11 when he doesn't).

Meanwhile, Oak Glen waltzed into their game on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 7-6 W against the Crusaders.

Tyler's defeat dropped their record down to 14-13. As for Oak Glen, their victory bumped their record up to 12-13.
