Softball Recap: Franklinton Comes Up Short

Franklinton managed to slip by Northlake Christian the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Demons lost 16-0 to the Wolverines on Tuesday. The Demons were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Wolverines earlier this season, when they won 8-6.

This is the second loss in a row for Franklinton and nudges their season record down to 9-13. As for Northlake Christian, their win bumped their record up to 8-11.

Looking ahead, Franklinton will be playing in front of their home fans against Sumner at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Cowboys will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something the Demons surely won't give up without a fight. As for Northlake Christian, they are taking a road trip to square off against Mt. Hermon at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
