Basketball Recap: Osborne Cardinals vs. Paulding County Patriots
Osborne was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 59-53 heartbreaker at the hands of the Paulding County Patriots. The Cardinals were probably out for revenge after losing 103-98 to them when the teams met back in December of 2014, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Deon Dixon and Aiden Aponte certainly did their best on Wednesday to avoid the loss. Dixon went 6 for 9 on his way to 14 points and seven boards, while Aponte went 5 of 10 en route to 13 points and six rebounds. Those six rebounds gave Aponte a new career-high. Kristian Stewart was another key player, putting up six points along with six boards and three steals.
It was another big night for Jerron Wilson, who went 9 for 22 en route to 24 points in addition to five assists and five rebounds for Paulding County. Another player making a difference was Keen-Yean James, who posted 13 points and eight boards.
