Volleyball Recap: Stansbury's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Stansbury had to endure a four-match losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against the Tooele Buffaloes by a score of 3-1 on Friday. This was a revenge game for the Stallions: when they faced off against the Buffaloes back in September, they had to take a 3-1 loss.

Stansbury walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 26-28, 25-22, 25-20.

Stansbury's victory bumped their record up to 9-16. As for Tooele, their defeat was their ninth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-21.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Stansbury is set to challenge their familiar foe Bear River at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Tooele will face off against rival Deseret Peak at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
