Baseball Recap: Cardington-Lincoln Triumphs

After only one run in their last matchup, Cardington-Lincoln made sure to put some runs up on the board against Marion Harding on Saturday. The Pirates walked away with an 11-8 victory over the Presidents.

Cardington-Lincoln's win bumped their record up to 13-4. As for Marion Harding, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-7.

When Cardington-Lincoln and Marion Harding next hit the field, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. The Pirates will take on Northmor and their five-game winning streak at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Marion Harding will try to stop Galion's seven-game winning streak when they meet at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Presidents 3.9, the Tigers 3.6) so any runs scored will be well earned.
