Serrano has gone 10-0 against Burroughs recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Serrano Diamondbacks will be playing at home against the Burroughs Burros at 4:30 p.m. Serrano's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for ten straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Thursday just wasn't the day for Serrano's offense. They came up short against Oak Hills on Thursday, falling 8-0. While losing is never fun, the Diamondbacks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 984th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 25th).

Meanwhile, Burroughs came into Thursday's contest having lost six straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They skirted past Apple Valley 2-1. The Burros' winning goal came courtesy of Eduardo Cazares.

Burroughs' win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 7-9-2. As for Serrano, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-13-1.

Serrano came out on top in a nail-biter against Burroughs when the teams last played back in January of 2024, sneaking past 3-2. Does Serrano have another victory up their sleeve, or will Burroughs turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
