Nobody could stop Parker Giles on Friday as he struck out 11 batters over five innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off two hits. As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was his third in a row with more than five strikeouts. For the year, he has an ERA of 7.17 over 13.7 innings pitched.

Coming up, Giles and Richwood will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Liberty at 6:00 p.m. Richwood has some work to do to even out the 2-7 series between these two since April of 2017, but a win here would be a good start.
