Fox Valley Lutheran has gone 8-2 against Waupaca recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Foxes will venture away from home to face off against the Comets at 4:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Fox Valley Lutheran has 14 straight victories, Waupaca has seven straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
On Friday, Fox Valley Lutheran got the win against Marinette by a conclusive 14-1. Considering the Foxes have won seven games by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Paige Leavitt and Madison Babcock were major factors no matter where they played. Throwing, Leavitt tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off four hits. Meanwhile, Babcock pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one walk in five consecutive appearances. At the plate, Leavitt went 2-for-3 with two RBI, while Babcock went 1-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. That's the most RBI Babcock has posted since back in April.

In other batting news, Olivia Fischer was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. Those four RBI gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Brianna Dahlke, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs.
Fox Valley Lutheran kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 16 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.
Waupaca couldn't beat Lakeland on Saturday even though they stacked four runs on them in the seventh inning. The Comets took an 11-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Thunderbirds.
Fox Valley Lutheran's win was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 14-0. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 10.1 runs this season. As for Waupaca, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-15.
Fox Valley Lutheran took their win against Waupaca in their previous matchup back in April by a conclusive 16-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Foxes since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
