Pleasant Home's game on Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They had just enough and edged out the Highland Home Flying Squadron 5-3. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Flying Squadron recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Pleasant Home now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Highland Home, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pleasant Home will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Laurel Hill at 6:00 p.m. on the 26th. The Hoboes have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 14.43 runs per game on average), something the Eagles will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Highland Home, they will square off against McKenzie at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
