Recap: Bishop LeBlond Eagles vs. Plattsburg Tigers
The Bishop LeBlond Eagles lost against the Plattsburg Tigers back in February of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Bishop LeBlond fell just short of Plattsburg by a score of 47-44.
It was another big night for Michael "isaia" Howard, who dropped a double-double on 27 points and 15 rebounds for Plattsburg. The matchup was Howard's 11th in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Jaiveon Grayson, who scored nine points along with six rebounds.
Bishop LeBlond's loss dropped their record down to 11-4. As for Plattsburg, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 9-2.
Bishop LeBlond will be playing in front of their home fans against Chillicothe at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Chillicothe focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 16 on Thursday. Plattsburg is on the road again on Friday and play against West Platte at 8:30 p.m. on December 29, 2023. West Platte will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Missouri Rankings (they are ranked 259th, while Plattsburg is ranked 96th).
