Baseball Recap: Miyamura Takes a Loss

Miyamura lost against Bloomfield back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Patriots lost 10-1 to the Bobcats.

Miyamura saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nikki Torres, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Miyamura now has a losing record of 9-10. As for Bloomfield, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-4 record this season.

Miyamura will take on Shiprock at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Chieftains have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.94 runs per game on average), something the Patriots will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Bloomfield, they will face off against Kirtland Central at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
