Softball Recap: Eagle Mountain Comes Up Short

Eagle Mountain and Snyder squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Eagle Mountain had to settle for second. They came up short against the Tigers, falling 10-2. Having soared to a lofty 15 runs in the game before, the Knights couldn't push the score so high this time.

Zoe Hawthorne made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one home run and two runs.

Eagle Mountain's loss dropped their record down to 16-14-1. As for Snyder, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 15 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-7 record this season.

While Eagle Mountain had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
