Volleyball Recap: Grand Saline Takes a Loss

Grand Saline lost against Greenville back in August of 2018, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Indians fell 2-0 to the Lions. The Indians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Greenville found their leader in sophomore Faith Rodden, who had six aces and four digs. Those six aces set a new season-high mark for Rodden. Caitlyn Teague also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

Grand Saline's defeat dropped their record down to 8-4. As for Greenville, their win bumped their record up to 6-2.

Grand Saline has already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Henderson on the 21st. As for Greenville, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Non Varsity Opponent on the 21st.
