Softball Recap: London Extends Winning Streak to Five

London barely beat North Union the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Red Raiders' pitcher stepped up to hand the Wildcats a 10-0 shutout on Friday. That's two games straight that the Red Raiders have won by exactly ten runs.

Bella Peterman made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out eight over five innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up a single earned run in three consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 2-for-4.

In other batting news, London got a big performance out of Khloe Cunningham, who scored two runs while going 1-for-3. Sophie Alt was another key player, scoring a run while going 3-for-4.

London always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .529. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as North Union only posted an OBP of .222.
