Football Game Preview: Reagan Bison vs. Coral Reef Barracudas + Official Tickets

Reagan is 1-6 against Coral Reef since August of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Bison will be playing in front of their home fans against the Barracudas at 3:30 p.m. The two teams have allowed few points on average (Reagan 8.2, Coral Reef 9.1) so any points scored will be well earned.

Coral Reef will face off against a team with plenty of momentum: Reagan extended their winning streak to three on October 9th. The Bison came within four points of losing the streak, but they secured a 12-8 W against Hialeah Gardens.

Meanwhile, Coral Reef owes their defense a big pat on the back after their performance on Friday. They blew past Ferguson, posting a 28-0 victory. Considering the Barracudas have won six games by more than 22 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Coral Reef's win came from a few key players Reagan will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Izaiah Roque, who rushed for 105 yards and one touchdown, and also threw for 35 yards and a pair of TDs. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in passing touchdowns (two). Amari Germain was another key player, rushing for 117 yards and one score on only seven carries.

Coral Reef was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 270 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

Coral Reef's win bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Reagan, their victory bumped their record up to 5-1.

Reagan lost to Coral Reef at home by a decisive 14-0 margin when the teams last played back in September. Can the Bison avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
