Basketball Recap: Lincoln Lutheran Takes a Loss

Lincoln Lutheran was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 14th straight loss. They took a hard 50-33 fall against the Lourdes Central Catholic Knights. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Warriors of the 44-41 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in December of 2023.

Lincoln Lutheran's record now sits at 1-20. As for Lourdes Central Catholic, their victory bumped their record up to 16-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lincoln Lutheran will square off against Auburn at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lourdes Central Catholic, they will take on Brownell Talbot at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Brownell Talbot will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Lourdes Central Catholic surely won't give up without a fight.
