Softball Recap: Gaffney Comes Up Short

Gaffney suffered their biggest defeat since March 1st on Friday. They lost 9-1 to the James F. Byrnes Rebels. Perhaps unsurprisingly, the Indians' biggest loss of the season was also their lowest-scoring.

Gaffney's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-5. As for James F. Byrnes, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-2.

Coming up, Gaffney will welcome Dorman at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Dorman will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Gaffney surely won't give up without a fight. As for James F. Byrnes, they will head out to square off against Wade Hampton at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
