Basketball Recap: Glades Central Skates Past Glades Day with Ease

Glades Central won the last time they faced Glades Day and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Glades Central Raiders blew past the Glades Day Gators, posting an 85-31 win. Given the Raiders' advantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 145th, while the Gators are ranked 797th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Glades Central has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-3 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.4 points per game. As for Glades Day, their loss was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-9.
