Soccer Game Preview: Sherman vs. Greenville

A feisty cat fight will be fought as the Sherman take on the Greenville at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Saturday just wasn't the day for Sherman's offense. They lost 4-0 to McKinney North on Saturday. The Bearcats haven't had much luck with the Bulldogs recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Meanwhile, Greenville has been on a difficult stretch since their win on January 28. They came up short against Walnut Grove on Friday, falling 6-1. While losing is never fun, the Lions can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 331st, while the Wildcats are ranked sixth).

Greenville's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Sherman, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-9.
