Basketball Recap: Schulenburg Sets Scoring Season-High Against Louise

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Schulenburg). They took their contest on Friday with ease, bagging a 72-26 win over the Louise Hornets. The victory was nothing new for the Shorthorns as they're now sitting on five straight.

Schulenburg has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-8 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.0 points per game. As for Louise, they are on a 43-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-17.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Schulenburg will challenge Weimar at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Louise has already played their next match (against Shiner), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
