Volleyball Recap: Cocoa Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Cocoa extended their losing streak to four on Monday, dropping them down to 1-10. They lost 3-0 to the Viera Hawks. If the Tigers were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Hawks when the teams met back in September of 2019, then they'll just have to keep looking.

As for Viera, their record now sits at 4-11. That looming 3-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for them yet this season.

Viera found their leader in sophomore Libby Williams, who had 17 assists and six aces. Elly Cordaro also deserves some recognition as she served her first aces of the season.

Looking ahead, Cocoa will face off against Palm Bay at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Viera, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 win against Space Coast on the 23rd.
