Erik Coronado Crosses Big Stat Threshold

Erik Coronado produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Pleasanton to the win on Friday. Coronado rushed for 166 yards and two touchdowns on only 12 carries. The performance once again pushed his average rushing yardage north of 100 yards per game (104.3). He showed off some serious burst, turning on the afterburners on one carry for 51 yards.

Pleasanton moved to 3-3 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak. Coronado and Pleasanton will challenge Fredericksburg at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

James Garza Has Career-Day on Friday

James Garza posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Friday. He rushed for 185 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.4 yards per carry. He's now once again averaging 100+ rushing yards (114.8) per game.

Canyon Lake's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-2. Garza and Canyon Lake will take on Uvalde at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Cade Segura Turns in Season-Best Effort

Pleasanton was led to victory by Cade Segura, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Segura threw for 116 yards and four touchdowns, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground.
