Baseball Recap: Indian Lake Takes a Loss

Indian Lake lost against Minster back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Lakers took a 7-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wildcats. The Lakers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Bryce Burton was cooking despite his team's loss, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base and one run.

Indian Lake's defeat dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Minster, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-2.

Coming up, Indian Lake will face off against Graham Local at 5:15 p.m. on Monday. The Lakers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Falcons have averaged an impressive 6.5 runs per game this season. As for Minster, they will look to defend their home field on Monday against Shawnee at 5:00 p.m. The timing is sure in the Wildcats' favor as the squad sits on three straight wins at home while the Indians have been banged up by seven consecutive losses on the road.
