Basketball Game Preview: Hundred Hornets vs. Magnolia Blue Eagles

Hundred hasn't had much luck against Magnolia recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Hundred Hornets will be playing at home against the Magnolia Blue Eagles at 7:00 p.m. One thing working in Hundred's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last ten contests.

On Monday, Hundred came up short against Trinity Christian and fell 74-67. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Wednesday (65), the Hornets still had to take the loss.

Meanwhile, Magnolia entered their tilt with Parkersburg Catholic on Saturday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 78-67 win over the Crusaders. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Blue Eagles' disadvantage in MaxPreps' West Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked 632nd, while the Crusaders are ranked 102nd).

Hundred's defeat dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Magnolia, they now have a winning record of 9-8.
