Volleyball Recap: College Prep & Leadership Academy Takes a Loss

College Prep & Leadership Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Millennium Lions. If the Royals were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Lions when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, College Prep & Leadership Academy sadly wound up on the wrong side. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 21-25, 25-22, 16-25, 15-8.

College Prep & Leadership Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Millennium, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Coming up, College Prep & Leadership Academy will head out to face off against Dudley at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Millennium, they will face off against Winston-Salem Preparatory Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
