Ja'Kari Northcutt and Kamari Moore secure win for Atkinson County

Recap: Atkinson County Rebels vs. Georgia Christian Generals
The Atkinson County Rebels's and the Georgia Christian Generals's matchup on Friday was close at halftime, but the Atkinson County Rebels turned on the heat in the second half with 33 points. Everything went Atkinson County's way against Georgia Christian as Atkinson County made off with a 59-35 win.
Leading Atkinson County to victory were Ja'Kari Northcutt and Kamari Moore. Northcutt scored 17 points, while Moore scored 18 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which Northcutt has scored at least 25% of Atkinson County's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Trinity Bolden, who scored eight points.
Atkinson County's victory bumped their record up to 9-5. As for Georgia Christian, their defeat ended a seven-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 6-3.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Atkinson County's road trip will continue as they head out to face Lanier County at 6:00 p.m. on January 9th. As for Georgia Christian, they will face off against Crisp Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
