After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Bountiful, Box Elder was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over the Bonneville Lakers. This was a revenge game for Box Elder: when they faced off against Bonneville back in March, they had to take a 3-0 defeat.

Oscar Ramos was the driving force of Box Elder's attack as he scored both of Box Elder's goals, bringing his season total up to three goals.

Box Elder's win bumped their record up to 2-8. As for Bonneville, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-8 record this season.

Box Elder will square off against Roy at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bonneville, they will take on Bountiful at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Bountiful will roll in looking for their tenth straight victory, something Bonneville surely won't give up without a fight.
