Baseball Recap: Williamston Triumphs

Williamston posted their closest victory since May 2nd on Saturday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-4 win over the Kalamazoo Central Maroon Giants. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Hornets.

Williamston's victory bumped their record up to 27-5. As for Kalamazoo Central, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 16-19.

Coincidentally, Williamston and Kalamazoo Central will both be playing Niles the next time they take the field. The Maroon Giants will host the Vikings at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Hornets will play them later in the day, at 1:30 p.m.
