While Marmaton Valley didn't have the best season last year (they finished 10-13), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They blew past the Altoona-Midway Jets 71-38 on Tuesday. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 42-22.

When it comes to explaining why Altoona-Midway lost, don't look at William Stackhouse. Despite the final result, he went 5 for 12 on his way to 17 points and seven rebounds. Stackhouse is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last 28 games he's played dating back to last season.
